Polaris 372cc Single Aka Fuji EC37P Questions.

I like single cylinder sleds best. Only one piston to worry about and when done up right they run forever.

I want to know how well this engine performs. Which sleds did it reside in? Is it comparable to a Hirth 372 or a Sachs 368. Any information at all on this engine would be helpful.

I could not find a sled that had oneof these .on 1970 the charger had a 372cc JLO in it. But thosu old fuji's weren't the most powerful engines. and if one does exsist i bet parts are scarce. I doubt it would nake much more than 20 hp

I never heard of the EC37P Snowjetfreak... must be rare. Where did you hear about/ find out about it? I do know of the JLO L372, is that what you're thinking of?

Nah I have the chance at buying one at a reasonable price. I was wondering if it would be worth my time. Its even got the shrowd on it that says Polaris in blue. I have an old Colt 340 S/S and the engine it is way fubar'd in it. It'd been heat seized than its been seized from sitting. Its proving very difficult.

Also I know of JLO 372's and as far as I know they were weak knee'd girly engines compared to the other 2. Seems JLO was never high performance and only ever really aimed at reliablity.

Edit: Do you guys know how much a complete Sachs 340ss and a Sachs 368 single's are worth? Like to buy the whole engine.

Are you selling or looking for Sachs engines? I know where you can get them for $50.00 a piece... let me know if you want a link to the site.
