Lets all just hope for one wicked snowy winter.

Double BS. Round trip the distance might be right, but if you could run 550 miles in one day on a sled you need to run the Soo. Those are professional racers, running at higher speeds than any 17 yr. old trail rider can ride, and they can't complete a 500-mile race in less than 12 hours.

Do the math, jr., is it possible? Maybe. Likely? not. You'll gain long standing respect by being truthful. It must be your age. Although it would be nice to do a few iron butt runs. Last few years, 12 hours would have you in circles MANY times.

You can't BS the best BS'ers around.....

Welcome new guy. That's a lot of miles in one day. The riding here in Montana is a lot more technical, mountainous. We're pushing it to ride 100 miles in the mountains in a day. Most days if the weather is good we can do 75 miles. Sometimes only 30.

Yep I know those trails, the same ones that have 2 or 3 foot moguls moving along @ 15-20 mph :R
