Accommodations for Valcourt Race

Thanks Jacques. If there was a way to send you a pic of you & your crew from Peterboro in the late 80s I would. You & a couple of your crew were kneeling on the ice in the pics looking @ your sled. I had the same suit & hat as your guys were wearing. When I showed the pics from that weekend to my pa...

Accommodations for Valcourt Race

We're thinking of taking in the races in Valcourt. Not sure if it'll be this season or next, but I have a question. Since we're coming from the west, would it make sense to get rooms in Granby? I've only passed thru the area once (back in '94) so don't really know what it's like getting accommodation.

Shortest way to Beausejour from Western NY

Why not go across Ontario on 17 to the Soo then across MI, WI & MN? A lot more civilisation to pass thru than 11 & 17 north along the lake.

Besides, 17 has already been closed this fall due to snow in the Wawa area.

Don't worry about lack of French in Ontario.

Any word on EPT schedule

Ontario Snowmobiler Magazine is reporting that the Almaguin Cup will be held in Burk's Falls Ontario (between Huntsville & North Bay) the weekend of March 3 & 4. No word on a venue (flooded track or plowed lake).

Bonnechere Cup Pics - Eganville (hopefully this works!)

I'm planning on heading up for Sunday's races. Since 2000 the race weekend has been a conflict w/ my annual snowmobile trip to northern Ontario. Looking forward to see the vintage sleds run.
