I sat on a............

250 sounds like an average day for us as well. I have been riding most of my life. Only in the last couple of years I have been doing some stand up riding. You really cant do it right with out a big raiser under the handlebars or new bars. It really helps if your an aggressive rider. You come into a...

I sat on a............

I have about 4" of rise. I actually replaced my bars with ones from a 2000 MXZX400. Click on link to see a picture of my set-up. http://homepage.mac.com/randysnowmobile/.Pictures/General/handlebars.jpg I actually found the first time was like learning to ride a new sled. But they did not make my upp...

I sat on a............

I really like the wide running boards on the Cats. If you stand up when you ride as much as I do they will come in real handy. I have sat on all the 2002 models and I was most impressed with the Cat. By looking at all of the suspensions I would the say Polaris and Cat have it above the rest. There j...

700xcsp

Well I have a 2001 XC800sp and I can go 100 miles on a tank of gas. I usually have it pinned on take offs and out of the corners. 100 miles to a tank isn't great gas mileage but it is double what you explained. I think your buddy has something seriously wrong and he ought to bring that thing in and ...

2001 XC 800 Advice

The backers that Bender shows on their website with the angle that goes against the lug are made by Woody's not Bender. Just to clarify so their is no confusion.

Bad-ass...Oakleys

Do they work well with the a breath deflector. I just bought a HJC ClX4 and it has a breath deflector. I am trying to decide between the Oakley and the Scott 89 Turboflow with amp blue lense. They say the amp blue works great in snow.

'97 XC 600 Advice

The 97 extra-10 will ride just about as good and any long travel suspension on the market if set up right. Does it have Fox shocks in it? I think their is a PPS upgrade you can purchase. But the main thing is to have the shocks progressive valved for your weight and riding syle. If you are a big guy...

Polaris Handle Bars

I really don't like the Pro-X bars. I looked at them and sat and stood on sleds with them. Try again Polaris. On my 2001 XC800 I run a set of 2000 MXZX 440 bars. They are much straighter than the Pro-X bars and have a nice rise with a cross bar. If anyone would like to see a picture of the set up em...

2001 XC 800 Advice

I recommend a MBRP silencer. They are a good price, are lightweight and compact in size, and sound great. I have a 2001 XC800sp with a 1.00" Camoplast Predator and 192 Woody's 5/16 studs with aluminum backers. This set-up works good for me. The stock track is a 1.00" as well but I wanted something t...
