I have owned all the brands heres what I think

Heres what I think. Forget the brand name. Buy what fits your needs at the time of purchase. I think quality problems have hit all the brands at one time or another. Also, who might have the trickest technolgy this might be old news the next year and some other brand has all the tech. I don't know i...

Engine Swapping

I don't know about the Polaris but the MXZX will come in somewhere around 96 with the low compression heads. I hear its not very noticable after switching. I switching mine just so I don't have a chance of blowing it and having to rebuild it. They are picky on gas with the high compression. With the...

cat's new sno-pro?

Sound like you have a hard time letting go of the past. "a normal seat (the way the should look)"

Who says they should look a certain way. I welcome innovation and a shift from the norm it doesn't sound like you do.

cat's new sno-pro?

Cat needs to do something. All the racers I talked to this year about buying their REV 440 Race sled said they used to ride Cats but there is a clear advantage in rider position and handling with the REV so they switched. One guy even switched in the middle of the season and lost all of his sponsors...

Engine Swapping

I really don't think there is a big difference between the 440 and the 600 now a days. Plus one is a race motor and the other is just a consumer motor. That is why the 440's are so fast. Shoot when I had my 800 I rode wiht guys that mostly had 600's. The only difference was when we were on long stra...

Engine Swapping

I would ride it first. Are you planning on trail riding it or racing it? I just bought a REV 440 MXZX for trail riding and I was thinking the same thing until I rode it. The little 440 flat out rocks. I would take my buds on the 700 out of the hole so bad they could not real me back in. Those little...

440 rev racer

The bigger tank comes right from ski-doo and is made for the 440. It is 11 gallon clear tank. I have not revalved the shocks yet. I only rode it once. I will probably valve a bit softer. I weigh around 180. The sled has a ton of adjustments on the clickers so I will probably do a little more of adju...
