Hard Starting Polaris

Oh yea, idle speed when cold and warming it up about 2500 to 3000 rpm. Once you are out riding and you stop, it should idle at about 1200 rpm. Turn the 3 idle screws the same amount every time you change your idle speed, not just one.

Hard Starting Polaris

If it is really cold -25 degrees F. full choke. But remember, the moment it catches and sputters to life get the choke off or you will drown it in gas. Feather the throttle and if it starts to stall give it a quick half choke and off. If normal cold 1/2 choke same scenario. If the sled does not star...

Hard Starting Polaris

I have 2 of the XLT98s and they both have the same flooding traits. They are easily flooded because of how they are ported, intake low and exhayst high. When starting cold, choke with no throttle. If it catches on the first pull or so great. If they start and stall, another pull with the choke on an...

New Handheld GPS!

I agree, anything garmen. The basic unit is all you need. All the extras you'll pay a bunch for and never use.

Canda

The St. Zenon area is great. Plenty of places to stay. I live in Ohio but have a second home in St. Zenon and have been going there for 20 years. E-mail me if you need more info. The people that bash the area we don't want there anyway. Rode 3750 miles in Quebec last year and I think I had about 25 ...

Riding Quebec

Been going to Quebec for 21 years and never had any trouble myself. Every time I hear or read about a theft the sleds or tow vehilcles were easy to steal. A little common sense just like here in the states will save anybody a lot of headaches. I have left vehicles for a week or more and never had an...

Riding Quebec

Just thought I would let you know that the La Glacier went out of business about a week ago. I have been going to Quebec riding for 21 years and stayed there up until I purchased a second home south of St. Zenon. I loved that place and will be going up to our house for Thanksgiving and will find out...
