Re: V-FORCE/Moto Tassinari Pro-lite series

Nice work John , I like that idea...That class proposal is near identical to the old Champ Lite class.. It was very successful and competitive , and would be a great class , being half way between F-500 and Pro Champ in performance . A lot of the Champ Lite sleds were jumping up to Pro Champ so the ...

Re: The future of Champ

32 mm carbs as the only rule change , is the direction I think we should take.. It will be the simplest , cheapest change , and serve to keep the speeds and power slightly down without taking away the ability for teams to still look for an advantage… I personally like Champ just the way it is, but I...

I also noticed Malcolm stays on the throttle deeper than anyone else which indicates they have the sled handling better .. I think 32 mm. carbs will actually...

Re: EGANVILLE WRAP_UP

Great Job Merv and crew, and all the volunteers that make this fantastic event happen...… I hope this race continues forever.. I had a great time…. This sport is probably the purest form of racing that there is and we are lucky to have it …

Re: The future of Champ

After reviewing all the ideas it seems we should best start with small changes.. For the 2015 season we need do something for sure .. I say , we simply limit the carbs to mikuni VM 32 mm. roundslides for next year and leave everything else status quo , at least for now… This will take just a little ...

Re: The future of Champ

Proton, we have found that tightening the stingers actually makes the engines make more power for short periods , but , makes them detonate and seize much too often. ..
