How fast am I going?

You really shouldn't have to, the speedo goes by track length and if the track is not longer it should be close. Gears just make the motor spin more rpm's for the same distance in the track,the speedo hooks on the end of the track drive shaft.

'96 A/C Couger for a 12 yr old?

This is a 550cc and has around 80hp this sled will run and ride well might be a little to much for a 12 year, I Know from experience my twelve year old runs my old 96 cougar. He doesn't have the muscle too throw it around or start it,never the less my son and I have great times riding the back roads...

Just about every cat that is delivered in my area is jetted for -40 If you go by the chart under the hood you will still have some margin of safety, Put 310's in and drop the needle one notch and on days when it's 0 just don't hold it wide open for a mile. My 500 is a 01 too. I have dropped to 310's with the old pilot in. and I run at 1500 feet most of the time and I beleave it is still little rich. I have 96 cougar that I dropped three sizes on and there is no danger of burn down to below -20 now on the 500 I would not push it to hard down that low. ...

I was fouling plugs on warm ups, So a guy on here told me to drop the main two sizes, the needle one notch, and lower the pilot jet one size. Has any one found that they had to drop their pilot jets on their arctic cat. I was told to do this on my 500. I don't know if this is a good Idea or not,could use some help.

There was someone on here that told me to think about studs in this way, Take a guy lying on a bed of nails. One thousand nails he does not get stuck, Two hundred nails and he bleeding. The same with studs, the more you use the less weigh on each and you don't get any bite out of them. You ride arou...

2002 VIPER OVERHEATING

Seen a new viper in the shop just out of the crate that had a coolant leak in the crate, and when they ran it,It lost more fluid. It had a faulty hose they had to replace.
