Drift, evidently you never played sports or have been to the gym, but that's OK. Not everyone can be a couch potato. Or is it potatoe? LOL

Innovative sled of the year

Drift, where did you get all that info? The Yamaha site? LOL
AC (or the others for that matter) could put "Exclusive" all over the place too, but it is just a play on words. Most educated people can see through them and see them for what they are... Words

Best of 2003!!!!!!!!

Drift, would thick headed be the other trait on Yamaha people? 1. Best motor - AC 800 twin proven for two years to be strong/consistent performer. 2. Best NEW motor - RX-1 (if it meets expectations) because it raises the bar for 4 strokes. F7 (700 efi, if it meets expectations)because of its potenti...

Innovative sled of the year

I think the REV is innovative in its riding position. The question that should be asked when looking for a ISOY should be "How/Will it change the industry?" If the REV is innovative and changes the industry like the original ZR did I will be surprised. I should qualify my statements since I have not...

Michigan Trash ride

My buddies and I are planning to go a couple times this year. That would be awesome to get a bunch together and ride. Count me in for at least 3 (I know 2 buddies for sure that will go).
When is the best riding out there? We went Mid Jan and it was AWESOME. Mid Feb and it was not as good.

Suprise!!!!!!!

watch out if they climb through your exhaust pipe. That happened to a couple buddies' sleds and they bent the rods when they tried to start it since the nest was on top of the pistons.

little off topic but sled related as well...........

Not sure what type of advice you are looking for or how handy you are with building stuff. But, the single MOST important thing next to make sure you have enough beer is make sure everything with the foundation is square and level before continuing. I have spent too many times pulling my hair out tr...

F7 weight

Just because weight may not be the #1 reason for buying a sled does not mean it doesn't matter. I bought my zr800 for the features it offered AND it was still lighter than one of my previous rides. The sled is only about 15 pounds heavier than my zr600 was, but with the added hp, the weight diff is ...
