things to think about !

If a method to blow the dust from the track is used, we need to make sure that the moisture / "ice grains" dont' compromise the effectiveness of the hay barrier. I remember hitting a wall years ago that had been installed prior to the final icing, and it was hard.

Sad day in the Racing world

My deepest sympathy to Bill's family. Bill made you a better person just by knowing him.
The snowmobile community and the world has lost a damn good guy.

Pro Sprint 600

Is anyone taking into account the physical conditioning of the racers? I learned early on, you needed to be the strongest on the last lap of the race, as that was all that was remembered. Nick VanStrydonk proved that this year; as have legends like Dale Loritz, Mike Houle and Chad Ramesh, just to na...

World Championship Odds

With expected sunshine and warmer temperatures, my pick is with the most physically conditioned drivers to endure the rough corners.
1) PJ
2) Brandon
3) Nick V
4) Cardell
Good Luck to all teams and drivers. Be Safe.

Eagle River preview

Nice work John,
You may be overlooking the efforts of two-time World Champion Dale Loritz's involvement in the Schultz / Graff effort though. Good Luck to all teams at the Derby.

Outlaw Pics- Updated 3-2-11

Cage would need to be anchored to chassis to prevent buckling / pinch point. Tunnel on this design is an easy swap, unlike most stock configurations.

36+ Champs racing for the WC in 2012 ???

Well said Greg, and good to have your input back. I agree with the theory of "not changing too much at once." USSA, more specifically, Jerry K., designed a class four years ago to accomodate some of what we felt were the out of date or less competitive sleds. Limited 500 and 600 have shown both grow...
