Latest Moto-Ski restoration..

The green thing is a 77 Z that somebody painted green at one point...

The 77 S/S engines are worth havin' layin' around! The 77 engine was completely unique from the crankcases, ignition, cylinders, head...It was all 77 only and they're kinda hard to come by.

Starfire 340 motor

165lbs? Is that a "wet" reading? Or has the head been cut on that. I had a 76 Starfire and it had nothing like that for compression. Ran on pump gas just fine...the thing was actually pretty tame for a "racer". (tx with a handlebar loop!) I'm sure the -06 Motor had a little more umph than the TX. Ju...

Latest Moto-Ski restoration..

It's a 77 Super Sonic, it's the same as a 77 Ski Doo Blizzard Super Stocker. Only it's orange! Brap nicely??? It freakin' hauls, buddy! It even still has the stock clutching and gearing, and I'm tellin' ya...by the seat of the pants feel I think it'll beat the Sno Twister. And that thing screams!

SRX Hydralic Brake???

The 72 SRs had a hydraulic brake, right? It used the same master cylinder as one of their bikes, and can't really remember the caliper. I don't know if this would bolt on to the SRX or not? Likely won't pick one up cheap?!

78 SRX vs 76/77

I know, it was kind of a joke! You guys want inserts...check out 2strokeheads. These guys are supposed to really know their stuff. They are using the hemispherical (yeah, it's got a hemi!) design and I guess it really kicks azz. My next set of heads are gonna come fro...

78 SRX vs 76/77

You can just cut 'bout .077" off it and cut the squish back about .015" and slap some race fuel in it! :p No need for a doughnut shaped dome, I got COMPRESSION BABY. LOL! Or you can just buy a MERC head and bolt on it, instant HP...C'mon, some of you Yammi guys have tried that to try and keep up!

Should finally be getting this thing out to some shows this summer. As soon as I get the track re-cleated it'll really be taking shape. Can't say enough about the decal set from Intech Graphics. If you need decals, visit this site. He also makes Rupp seats and I'll have ...
