mid 70's Polaris question

snoking... It's mostly the DNR. They bring up to 12 officers out on busy weekends and don't allow and racing or speeding unless it's on a fenced off track and all the permits have been paid for. Everybody always has alot of fun, but I can't afford to register and buy trail permits all the sleds I br...

mid 70's Polaris question

Probably your best bet would be a 76 TX...It would be new enough that you could make things interchange easily and you could get cosmetic parts for it easy as well. I don't think putting a 2.52X48 121" track would be difficult at all. At most you would have to put a tunnel extension on it. Especiall...

mid 70's Polaris question

The TXs and other sleds with cleated tracks had the 3.29X35 tracks. Some work would have to be done to make it work, new drivers ...

03 Snopro problems

alot of guys use 503 Rotax engines...521s are sought after by ultralight guys too...Even make 4 plug heads for them like the old 78 S/M Ski Doos. As long as it had provisions for the gearbox, your set! You're not gonna want to use snowmobile carbs....I'd check into getting the right carbs. Even hear...

Unifilters

just put them on and check it after a run. There's a good chance you won't have to do anything to it if it still has the stock jetting. Stock jetting is safe, after you take the airbox off and put on filters it may breath a little easier, but your jetting wil most likely be really close. If a change...

Yep, they should have it in bulk. Buy it by the foot and buy the caps and connectors separate that you need.

ignition question...

Ya, SRX, that's what happened...acted like it had one bad coil and wouldn't come up on the pipe. The way Scott explains it makes perfect sense. As the revs got higher, so'd the cylinder pressure. Thus not allowing the spark to jump. I do have a question though. How is the automotive ignition differe...
