How do you adjust a lean running motor.

make sure your carb flange doesn't have any cracks.i just went through that.no matter what i did i couldn't get my sled to run right. thankfully i didn't burn it down,or hurt the pistons.running a sled without a clutch and belt isn't a good idea,many years ago i did and the motor took off on me,woun...

ironwood area report

I live in the Ironwood area,haven't been on the trail but i heard on the radio they have been grooming 2 times a day during the week.
plus we got about 4 inch's of snow today

now making clutch alignment tools any one interested

Adam,it's good idea.i bulit my own cause i couldn't find the proper sheave gauge,but alot of ppl don't have access to a milling machine.
i also noticed alot of sleds that i have ridden had the clutch's out of alignment.

i have to run the stock size carbs to meet the super stock rules,or else i would try them.ever hear of anyone using the air strkyer carbs on sled? i know the atv racers love them.

crankshaft seal replacement

is it possible to replace them with out splitting the crankcase?
i told my buddy he'd be better off tearing down his engine but he thinks it can be done.what do you guys think?
