Oval Challenge??

Postby ZR PILOT » February 23rd, 2006, 4:31 am

I know that Terry Wahl won the Champ 440 portion, PJ was second, Gary Moyle was third - but who won the Pro Stock 600 portion of the Inagural Millenium Technologies/ V-Force Reeds Oval Challenge Series?? I realize the tragedies that happened North of the Border - but no one has mentioned who ended up winning Pro Stock 600!! If anyone (Todd A.) has the OFFICIAL results - could you please post?!! Thanx - GW

Sorry for the delay. I Will get them posted. Marcel just sent me the final results and some pic's

Pro Champ

1st Terry Wahl
2nd P.J Wandersheid
3rd Gary Moyle

Pro Stock 600

1st Nick Dolezal
2nd Philip Moulton
3rd is a tie Adam Meihis & Dustin Wahl

Usually in a tie it would be broken by the driver with the most wins but because this was not written in any of the rules. I the fonder of this program made the decision to split 3rd place between the two drivers.

I hope this does not get anyone wild but I tried my best. next year it will be clarified.

Todd Achterberg

P.S if anyone has any input for next year please e-mail me at or call me at 715-479-4424. things are already in the works for next year. Lets give all the drivers here a big hand, they did a great job.

I just want to say thank you for setting this whole thing up. I think it has dramatically affected racing in a positive way. Look at how huge the stock classes got, and there seemed to be more champ sleds too. Great job, I hope this becomes an annual thing!!

The only suggestion I would have is to move the first race to Beausejours spring date.

I know we could not and would not make the December race for the next few years due to college finals being right around then for our driver and no time to test any innovations we may have come up with.

Todd and everyone else involved, thank you very much for setting up the Oval Challenge. I'm sure it was a lot of work but I hope it becomes an annual series. It really helps our sport.

Looks like only 3 drivers followed all of the races for the challenge, pretty sad looks to me like there was not a huge interest with the Champ guys.
