From what I know, talking to my Dirt Late Model friends who race there - it's a 3/8 mi. tri-oval. Check out www.triovalspeedway.com for a map and directions. Hope this helps!?!
A fan of snowmobile oval racing!! ;)

I went over to Fountain City this year for the Wissota Late Model Challenge Series race. The late model were really flying around the track.
I'm sure you drivers will like the track too. Nice pit area to park the rigs. Lot of room on the track to do some passing.

There is one small hotel in Fountain City but your best bet will be to look at Winona, MN just across the river and if that is not available La Crosse is about 35 min. Fountain City is a "very" pronounced "D" shaped track with very wide corners. From the start line turn one is sharp but wide enough for the whole pack, this will give any hole shot an opportunity. You will be turning through the entire back stretch but on the throttle all the way because it's a smooth and continuous sweep. Coming into turn 4 it will be on the brakes for a sharp but wide corner then down the straight front stretch. It will be a very fun track to run at. As stated previously there is a ton of pit space so no worries for any size rigs.

There's also plenty of room to park your rv if you wanted to stay over night at the race track. No hook ups though.
