Please Be careful what you call your group(great Idea by the way Cory), some people might get it confused with MIRA (midwest international racing association)...I am watching with excitement as this movement unfolds.

sorry for upsetting you Corey I bad!!!! I believe that your numbers are wrong, except for the big name drivers. The point I am trying to make is most teams except for the big boys are not traveling between states, I am sure that the cost has a lot to do with this with deisel at $4.00 a gallon, so if there is only three or four races in a area are the low budget teams going to keep racing? I don't think so why build a sled to run three or four times. A series like sno-pro would be great for the big boy's, to race but what about the other guys. We keep saying we need to get more people involved do you think only one race in the midwest each weekend is the answer?

cory. you forgot one thing on the gas you did nt figure in getting back home and if pushing a 30 mph wind add another 50 percent.plus add in gate fee s you got 500 tried you hav nt entered yet. i hope there s plenty of added money to support extra travel.probably 90 percent of racers run out of there own pocket every dollar doe s matter .if the small guy can t afford the gas there will be no more races .cory if your last statement is what racers have to look forward to then this deal won t be around very long.remenber racers got to want to come .thanks pat duchene

Cory I see what you are trying to say, but I don't agree. Every penny counts as far as I am concerned. You of all people should know that. Money was the only thing stopping you from being out on the track these last few seasons. It will be awesome to have you out there next year though.

pat- don't forget that you wouldn't be required to attend the "other" organizations races. But in your case, why not? How far is Fairbault from Forest Lake?

You've just got to hone your semi draftin techniques!
Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naw, I haven't been playing that well."

Then they said to me, "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

Chit, I could win this!

Man I wish ANY of those drives were for us! CLosest race 500 miles round trip to Boonville, longest was Roberval 900 miles round trip, Eganville 800, Burkes Falls 850, Haliburton 750, Valcourt 600, SHawinigan 750. 8 mpg pulling trailer for about 5200 miles= 680 gallons x 3.50gal avg= $2,440 if my math works. I would kill for 200 or 300 mile weekends!!
