With Beausejour coming up this weekend...the 2008 season will come to a close. How should my Top 10 look come Monday??? (or Tuesday, since Linzi and I will be recovering on our trip home Monday, LOL!)

Dustin #1?

PJ in the Top 10?

EPT guys in the Top 10?

Van Strydonk and Bettin in the Top 5?

What has happened to our World Champion?

How about Gary's 2008 season?

Dolezal making a late season charge?

hard to argue with Dustin being in the #1 spot. Johnson has had a great season so he needs to be right up there. I think Moyles are a little disappointed with their results, but they have been right there every weekened also.

It's tough to try to rank these guys because they are all so good at what they do. Nick Van Strydonk is going to be a superstar in this sport and it's going to be fun to watch him progress. Brad Bettin has also looked awesome this year.

I'll be interested to see how it all shakes out in Beausejour. We're bringing a Champ to throw into the mix with Brian McCurdy Jr driving it. We will run both semi-pro classes in BJ along with Pro Formula 600. We will run Pro all of next season

Thanks...I will have my new motor in one of Rydeen's old sleds just to get myself some seat time for next season when I race full time again. I just inked a deal for a full sponsorship next season.

It will be nice to fulfill some of my goals that I never got to achieve. I appreciate the opportunity to race again. Being away for 2+ years has been pure agony. (I am sure some of you can understand)

Hmmm...maybe Dozer is having a lot more fun racing something that handles well and actually has some POWER. Nick has been way overdue for a new sled.

Matt Schulz was absolutly flying this past weekend. Talking to him and his crew, they seem to have things working alot better. From what I heard, he was 7 to 8 lengths ahead of Dustin when his belt blew well before halfway into the final sunday. I would expect him to be very fast this coming weekend.

Not sure about the top ten but there is one guy that deserves the "Studboy Stud of the week" Jacques Villeneuve in Eganville was back on his sled basically a month after his injuries suffered in Eagle River. Not only did he come back,,, but he came back to win! it was only a couple of mechanical gremlins that kept him off the podium! Most thought he would never walk again this year let alone race. In his words. "Im a son of a b1tch" and here he is back racing healthy kids less than half his age and beating them.
Go Jacques!:C
