Corey
I think the 525, and rock rapids would be perfect dates to add before, and what about Plymouth? this could make a huge PRO TOUR!
Just thinkin out loud.

Corey,

This a good Start. One concern I have is the timing of our race. I'm in the process of looking back over the past 10 years at the weather and see how it would effect our race being two weeks later.
Just thinking out loud here, Being that our track is the furthest south would it be better to go Forest Lake, Weyauwega, Eagle River, Valcourt, and end with Beausejour?
Two questions come to mind.

Would this be less Travel time for teams so not to criss cross across the country?

How would this effect Valcourt?

I agree with this post of not competing against other major tracks!

I think hes just talkin about flip floppin, Forrest Lake and Weyauwega, ain't he

In a "perfect" world with proper weather, i think that makes sense don't it?

Havin Eagle River and Valcourt back to back would mean a ton of driving in a short time for the Eastern guys wouldn't it?

Doug, Thanx for giving Plymouth a "shout-out" for that idea. There is a lot of tradition and passion for snowmobile racing in Plymouth. With the Snow Rangers being a part of the Oval Challenge Series since it's inception - I bet that group would like to be a part of another "Mini-Series" - if there will be a 31st Annual Bud Classic. I think all sanctioning bodies need to work together next year to really bring back oval racing to where it was 10-12 years ago - A LOT of entries of every event!! Looking forward to an exciting '08-'09 Season!!
A fan of snowmobile oval racing!! ;)

For us Eastern guys, this isn't a big deal. This year we had to head to Boonville right after ER. It will be a longer drive for some, but a shorter drive for others. Valcourt is somewhat central for driving for alot of guys.

This idea certainly has merit and our group would like to participate if something is able to be put together. I would like to point out that the 2009 Wausau 525 has already been scheduled for Jan 24-25 so please keep that in mind while working on this.

Keep us in the loop and let me know any way we can help. We are willing to meet or talk at any time.
