I have most of a stock 99 zr engine for sale. It has perfect cylinders heads, crank, pistons, cases, no igniton. The 99 motors had triple exhaust ports and are the favorite of the champ 440 Cat guys.
$500.00 for the lot

the most important thing is to shorten the upper a-arm 3/8-7/16 of an inch or get an adjustable one. When you lower the sled it tips the spindles out and you roll off the carbide in the turns.

Depending on where you are racing, there may not be a class for the sled. Remember stock classes no longer allow suspension changes,or modifications, some of which were mentioned. If your local association offers a stock class with suspension mods, fine, but in many areas you would not be legal. Actually you would be better off building it as a Limited and do a complete change over. Then it would be legal for "stock" class of the old rules, and could race as a "limited" in other associations that don't offer the old style stock. Per the new rules this year, if you ran what is referred to as "Pure Stock" no changes are allowed. Just trying to save you some trouble later on.

i appreciate all the reply's so far, you cannot alter the A arm length at this particular series. I suppose I will have to lower it to a point of acceptable camber.

Cut and reweld the stock a-arm no one can tell, otherwise scrap the sled because without the mod you are wasting time and money. I have done it both ways. the other option is get a 2000 or newer stock lower Zr a-arm it is about a 1/2 longer than the 99.

We set up a 98 without changing a-arm length and had one of the best handling sleds i've been on. The Arctic cat shop manual for 98,99 has a good starting point setup in the back of the book with part numbers and all.
