Boy, Pure Stock sure was a great idea. I thought it was gonna be the Savior Class for Ice Ovals?? Just shows that you STILL can't trust the manufacturers to do anything. Hook, Line and SINKER.....

I thought it was a pretty successful deal this weekend. Thanks to Todd Achterberg and the Rent-A-Ride program! The 4 people who raced in the Rent-A-Ride deal had the time of their lives and it gave them an opportunity to try out a sport that can otherwise seem unavailable to interested riders who wouldn't know where to begin on their own. I wouldn't condemn the class just yet.

Talking about Pure Stock, quit changing the subject Mike. I am 100% behind the Rent-A-Ride Program. Anyway to get new people involved.

That is the hope for the Rent-A-Ride Program, to get those people into Pure Stock. Time will tell with the class. You may be correct, but I hope it takes off

The only thing that will kill the Rent-A-Ride Program is when one of these first timer's gets hurt on something that isnt theirs. Lawsuit material.

They must have to sign their life away don't they.
And that reminds me of a question I was going to ask.
If someone puts one of the rent a rides into the bales and does series damage to the sled, who is responsable for the repairs?

Back.in the day with MRP and cat had the JAG Special class the circuit/ Jerry Dillion was responsible for the damage done I believe. Maybe cat took it on themselves. Either way it wasn't the driver which is one of the main reasons it shut down. Got to be way to expensive for circuit and cat. It easy great for the new people trying it out. It was only 35-45$ to try racing per weekend. How much is this new program? Heard a lot about it but unsure of cost.
