Who has purchased or will be purchasing a motor to be running in the class. I know Ski Doo sold a lot of motors just wondering who will be racing in that class, both EAST and WEST?

If the manufacrures are wanting to be a part of this sport by backing this class he would be crazy not to offer it.

Darren: It has not yet been determined which manufacturers are offering engine packages. It appears Ski Doo only at this point. Also since it's a starter class, perhaps it's best to let it develop in one area first.
One last note, the USSA president is not the sole decision maker on classes ran, the race rules committee makes the decision and forwards it to the board for final approval.
I don't think Terry meant it was a one man call.

So I know there are differences between factory 600 and limited 600 but what are the major ones? Is it also designed to be a lower cost class to run?

While they are prohibiting the use of exotic metals, I would guess at the end of the day, this class is going to cost about the same as a Champ sled does. Ask some people who have raced in "stock" motor classes and most will tell you the same thing, having a good stocker is way more expensive than having a good mod.

Thats the part I'm not understanding, both classes have no exotic metals, stock motors, and are supposed to have an updated modern body? Is this pretty much the same class only with a few minor tweeks and a new name?
