Rode with a guy that has one. He beat the s**t out of his and it kept going. Definently a good sled.

SOme people said that the 98 models have crank problem, it is true ???

Some (not all) SRX's did have potential crank problems, which Yamaha took care of as a recall for free. Before you buy the sled, take the serial numbers down to your local Yamaha shop. They can run the numbers and tell you right away if there are any applicable recalls and if the crank work was done. Click over at www.totallyamaha.com and check in their tech section. There is a section on SRX cranks and recalls.
If you are in the ditch, upside down, and the sled's on top of you, you are doing something wrong.....
