Sled head,
Of course I was joking, you didn't really take me serious did you, gotta try and rouse some humor here and there. I've never owned a triple myself. I guess because two"s are hard enough to keep running, seems like the guys with triples work on them more.

Isnt the RX-1 a four cyl.??? Does that mean that you are going to have the hood open even more then a triple??? You wont even get to ride it with that theory!

OK TREEWHACKER, I dont work on my triple/triple that much at all, except for carb maintience, which is critical to stop burn downs on the long runs!
I have owned twins also, usualy 1 of each yearly. I just sold the 2000 XC700, always messing with the carbs on that one!

YAH THE TRASH ROOM IS SLOW, SO IM HERE...SO??

Yes bbartels
If it's as dependable as all other four strokes I have, the only time the hood will be open is to show off that great Yamaha workmanship. Four strokes = less maintenance. I'm really going to enjoy the mileage too....20+
ZR I would call it "Constructive Critisism....Did I spell that right?

tree whacker you are an idiot. You probaly really didnt know what a triple triple was, your just trying to cover your ass. Maybee there a diferent word for triple triple over there in japan where they make those slugs.....i dunno. I would rather have a two stroke and have to do more maintnance, thats all part of the sport. The RX-1's are waaaaaaay over ratedjust like the P.O.S. Vipers were last year. Will you yami guys get a clue.

Be carefull bad mouthing 4 strokes pro x. I just spoke with my dealer (Yamaha, Polaris dealer) and he just got back from a Polaris meeting in Florida where they unveiled their new 2003 pwc. It comes with a choice of 1 of 3 engines;

140 HP 1200 triple 2-stroke and the heir to the sled a 150 HP turbo charged 800 4-stroke twin.
And a 750 4-stroke twin w/turbo.

We call them piped triples here. A lot of things are different here. That doesn't make it wrong. Also, you shouldn't be so ignorant twoard four-stroke, they will prevail in the years to come. nor twoards the Japanese people, they're very clever and were leaders in the auto and motorcycle industry for many years. Does everyone there in NY have the same attitude as you? Hopefully not. Also, one more note. You should try proof reading your posts, poor grammar-poor spelling. Did you do poorly in school because you spent all your time figuring out ways to put people down?

Im not bad mouthing 4-strokes at all. Im just saying that I like 2 Strokes better. Im entitled to my own opinion right??? Also I was just talking with my dad, and he just went to local gras drags. He said they had to run the RX-1 in the 700 class. If you want to be lake king then buy an rx-1,or any 4-stroke at that. But I dunno anyone who like to hone up and down the lake all day If you want a sled that you can tear s**t up on......then get a 2 stroke.
