Clutch Kit

Postby JR600MXZ » September 10th, 2003, 2:31 pm

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good cluth kit for a MXZ 600, I tried talking to a few vendors at Hay Days but they would just said that there's is the best. Has anyone tried EPI, Goodwin, Heel Clicker, or Dyno Port.

Clutch Kit

The hot set-up awhile back for the 00- 01's anyways was a 200/350 drive clutch spring, 286 ramps, 18.5 pin weight, 54/48 or 52/48 helix set at 18 to 20 lbs.spring tension. I went with the 52/48 and my sled goes well. As long as you go with the right parts it really doesn't make much difference who makes the parts, Ski-doo parts, aftermarket parts, etc. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, I guess I'll have to do a little checking to see what comes with those kits.
