Grassdrags are perfectly safe. The only concern is make sure you have enough cool down time between runs.

Hey phsyco, 2 miles of water is nothing. My friend has a video of him running the canal behind his house last summer, it 15KM, or about 6 miles long. it was crazy.

BigWalt,

You can run a sled on grass for short runs without hurting anything. Obviously there is nothing cooling the exhangers so if you go too far or not enough time between runs it will overheat. The only other thing that wears abnormally because of no snow are the slides, but they are cheap and easy to replace.

I don't know how the F7 is but, I had the same problem with my ZR a couple of years ago. Check your suspension make sure that your rear shock is up. My was down and when I would get on it, it would push it right into my track causing the track to jump the cogs.

It sounds to me that your are just spinning your track. If you only have 1.075 studs on an snow pro track they are to short. This track has 1.250 paddles are more.

it maybe properly studded, but if they are too long, then they willl start rubbing on the bottom of the tunnel... also, make sure you rrollers arent going already, maybe your pitting one of your pistons. check the top end...

No, the track is not spinning, it is not moving. No, this sled has the 1" paddle option on it. The 1.075 studs are the recommended size.
