Who Purchased RX-1.

I just bought one (Snow Checked). How many are going to snow check this sled ? Reply if you are.

And for those who do want to buy one, don't pay MSRP. There are some dealers in my area who want full MSRP, but you can purchase the RX-1 ER from $7999 to $8600 instead of $ 9148.00.

Did you ride one yet ... or just buy on faith? I'm really trying to find a dealer willing to let one out for a ride.

I have bought it out of faith. Did the same with my WR250F(YZ250F) also with 1998 YZF600R. I have not been dissapointed. The WR has the best of both worlds. Low end torque, then 13,500 RPM Ripp. So, how can you loose.

I saw on the web at xtremepowersports, they have the RX1 for $7,799. Didn't state if it includes freight and set-up though. What's the best price anyone has seen in the Wisconsin area?

Friend of mine told me he snowchecked one last week. Im not sure what he is paying though.
I agree the WR series are awsome bikes, however I might wait on the RX-1 until its second year. There just seems to be too much new design. Anything that dramatically changed is obviously going to need real life upgrades/improvment.
Ill be keeping a close eye on it though, Im sure it going to kick a$$.

Yes, the RX-1 can sell for $7750, but I am talking about the ER with Reverse. Forget lugging the back end around, reverse rules..

Only $7750?? wow, I was planning on buying a new A/C next season but its gonna cost me almost $7,000, and its smaller! maybe I will save my pennies and buy a RX-1 for alittle more. The 4 stroke is going to rule! no more blown top ends, 2 stroke smell after riding, smoking. ahhhhhaa

I understand these RX sleds use carbs, I heard the new R1 sportbikes are going to fuel injection, could this be something to come later for the RX1?
