Hey R_TICAT What's the matter. Truth hurts doesn't it! Just face it Arctic Junks Engineers are a bunch of DUMB FU@#S Who should all be fired, not only for the motors(800&900) not fitting but the whole heat exchanger issue as well! I saw an F-5 in person on Friday and I was not impressed what so ever! Not only is it ugly,it had one of the worst fit&finishes I have ever seen on anything before.

Some insurance companys won't even give you a policy if you're over 600cc! I had to automatically get a $500 deductable on my 800 because that's the only way that my co.(State Farm)would insure it!

'01 MXZ 800- Yeah the REV is MUCH better looking... NOT!
BTW...I have State Farm and could get any deductable I wanted (for a price that is)!
I'm paying $300/year-$200 deductable, for full coverage on my 2002 ZR800 EFI CCE, liability on my '89 Cheetah (that I use to groom the local trails(if it snows!)and full coverage on my trailer. Do you have other policies with State Farm or just your sled? I have my car policies with them too. That helps with the price.

I have Home, cars, pontoon and sleds with State Farm and with the $500 deductable,(my choice),the cost to insure both sled was under $300 per year. (Full coverage on 2003 and liability on 1996.)

And YES the REV looks much better than the F-cats...ALOT better

Yes the R.E.V. looks way better than the Pussy Cat
I have all my insurance with State Farm !My Truck (2001 F-250 4x4 crew cab)wifes car (2001 Taurus)My fun car('72 340 4spd Duster) My sled,and house!
I'll be on the phone today to talk my agent to put my Duster in storage insurance and I'm going to ask about getting my deductable lowered!
Hey R_ticat no hard feelings eh! But come on admit it the R.E.V. should have been sled of the year! The FU@#In R-X 1TON Give me a break! The Fire Cat should have even got it before that tank! Hell, even the MXZ 550F would be a better vote than that heavy slow pig! I just think the new look Cat looks kind of strange, not ot say the R.E.V. doesn't. The F-Cat kind of remind me of tall chick who's got skinny long legs(track and tunnel)and heavy with big fat floppy tits up stairs(hood belly pan ect.)! Sorry but I think the R.E.V. looks more like a well Proportioned hot Hooters Waitress (36-24-36)! I'm sure people who bought them (F-Cats) will like them, but I tell you what.I'f I snow checked one and all of the sudden it has it's weight gain(460# v.s. 435# and energy problem(Dyno Results less than 140 claimed H.P.)over the summer, I'd be a little pissed off and would think they(Arctic Junk, LOL!!) would be giving a little break on the price or your money back! Did I hear right or not.Isn't there already a problem with them, something to do with the tunnel or bogies or what? I know the MXZ 800's had their piston problems but they found that out after the snow fell! I didn't even find out about the piston recall myself until Oct of '01 at the Capac,Mi grass drags from another 800 owner.

I agree freeze, 100 cc's is not much of a jump in size. The 440 racing motor hs been around for ages but maybe it's time to jump to 500 and eliminate the 440. The 800 has been king for years and I think should remain that way. The bigger the motor the heavier the sled.

Hey MX6 ! You ever rode A MXZ440X! Those are fun!
I don't see those being dropped any time soon! BTW
The weight difference in the MXZ's(only ones I know off hand 2001 Zx chassis specs.) is only a few pounds! 500cc-468# 600cc-469# 700cc-472# 800cc-474#. I'm not sure about the '02's and 3's,but i can't see them being any different!Plus look at the 800 Twin Comparo in the Dec. '02 Snow Blower Issue. Blade 1W-X 800 418# ,PRO X 800 497#,
ZR 800 EFI 507,R.E.V. 800 454# ! I'm sure the other POO's can't be much farther off the PRO X 800's ,and I can't imagine the ZR 900 weighing much more than the 800! But I could be wrong.

I have never had any trouble-insuring sleds. I use St Farm and my 01 800mxzx was $285 a year with a $250 deductible. My Revx600ho will be about $300 with a $250 deductible. But I was told if you have any DWI's or anything related to that it is very difficult to insure a sled. I even totaled a sled and still don't have any trouble insuring a sled.
