Associated Press article Watertown Times, NY

a 5 year old boy died Monday one day after the mni snowmobile he was riding over turned on him, according to police.
Paul Emery of Clinton NY (near Utica)was riding alone about 3:15pm Sunday on a minature Polaris
snowmobile in a field when he tired to ride up a
snow covered mound of dirt, Kirkland police chief Don English said in a statement. At the crest, the machine turned and trapped the boy undrneath.
Emery was taken to the trauma unit of St. Elizabeth Medical Center Utica and then transferred to Upstate Medical University in Syracuse where he died Monday, English said.(end)

That sucks big time, All I have to say is WHERE WAS HIS PARENTS ? 5 YEAR OLDS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO RIDE UNSUPERVISED ! Nuff Said !

That IS tragic! Where were his parents?
Did they say what his injuries were? Just curious. Must have been just right (or should I say just wrong) to have killed him!

Very sad, but like the others said, WHERE were the parnets??
We dont even let the 6year old grandson play outside the yard, WITH OUT supervision!!

Man, that really is sad, I really feel for the parents being this close to Christmas.

Red, He may have not been riding unsupervised, I watched my son have a very nasty getoff on his bike this summer, flying W with a nasty faceplant to finish it off. I was only 20 yards away from him when he crashed, there was nothing I could do to keep it from happening.
I'll agree, if he was all by himself, with no supervision, that's very is very irresponsable of his parents or grandparents, the article really doesn't say where he was.
