i have a 98 xlt 600 and i want to race a 99 zr 600 i was just wondering who u think is going to win and about how fast will my xlt go

I don't usually respond to these type posts because there are so many variables. ie: state of tune,...rider weight, that sort of thing. However, with this particualar question and with these particular sleds, I feel confidantly qualified to give you an honest, unbiased answer. Do not, I repeat, do not bet money against your buds sled. The ZR sleds so dominate in speed and handling against an xlt or any other sled made that you would just be throwing your money away. If you race him, your ego will be crushed, and any fantasy you may have had of actually having a fast sled will be ruined forever. Have a nice day.:)

my personal opinion is this:
zr wins in acceleration but maybe and this is only a maybe, the po po polaris can catch him up on top, like snotty says though there are many many variables. good luck and be careful.
