mxz6, I looked at the Polaris 90 and they are REALLY cheezy... The only thing that is Polaris on that 90 is the decals. The bigger units are ok at best(we've had bad luck w/Polaris on the farm in the past"in the 80's") I just personally got a bad first hand impression, I may be wrong?

I agree with you the Raptor is the best looking by far out of all of them.

Salty, daddy is lookin' at those, lol.
I've shopped around for the Honda trx90 today and holy crap, a 2000 is about $8 less than a new one! Talk about holding their value! And the nearest used one I can find is in Iowa or Minn. I'm just gonna buy new.

Both are great little machines. However, I'd have to give my thumbs up to the Yami because of the electric start. I know they are not too tough to pull start, but it can kinda of become a pain in the azz. Just my 2 cents....

Sorry, Pat, but our LT80 went away 2 years ago.... I picked up an LT125 for my daughter to ride.

RidBlu, your right, elc. start would be nice. But if it becomes an issue I'll bet elc.start is available as an add-on with the other models(but at a hefty price?)

Ok then Ed, help me with this: how about if I get the Honda TRX90 and you figure out a way to make the Raptor plastic fit on the Honda chassis? lol

sure the Raptor 90 looks better, but the front suspension is the worst avalailable on the market. A twin shock, forward facing swingarm does not work, PERIOD! Anything else will ride better then a Raptor 90.

Big, taken in the context that the machine is meant for, I'm sure that it'll be fine..... Not many 9 year old that fully appreciate the finer points of ATV handling chacteristics, knowhatimean?????
