why in winter when people should be out on there sleds they are on here posting, but when there is nothing to do in summer, they hardly post.... i know some of it cause winter makes some good stories... but whats the rest of it?

there is alot to do in the summer, I myself spend every day on my boat but still manage to think SNOWMOBILE during the heat wave that melted my fun away.

Yeah, they're just doing other stuff. It will pick back up in a few months. In the fall when the snow shows get everyone thinking sleds again.

Those of us here year round are the "hardcore,. helpless, snowmobile addicts". The others are "wanna be's, when the time comes'", kinda people. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But those of us that are here now & in July, we think sleds 24/7/52 weeks/ year!

I slow down to 5 post a day in the summer, in the winter I get up to about 10 a day:)

In winter, we(I), come here between rides, during meals or anytime I pass a connected 'puter. Always wondering who is broke, who is having bad luck and who is riding(or not). This last year wasn't a banner year for snow. So those of you who are riding make it easier on us who WANT to be. Good stories and good times.....Yeah, its the stories.

my powerband is WOT at about 9000 rpm everywhere i go. i just keep spare brake pads in the trunk.

Sounds like 2k2..still has Yamaha envy.....Did you get whipped alot by the boys in "BLUE " on Lake Nokomis this winter??????......but hey if you can't beat em...trash em.... ;)
