2005 Polaris add in paper..........

The Fusion looks like ass, but the RMK looks sweet. But this game of "longest" track is just getting stupid IMO. Cat had an excuse with the wider pitch they used in their track. I wonder what polaris' reason is. Deeper lugs though... man... that's nearly an inch longer than the lugs on my track now.

Cripes... look at how long that thing is... somebody somewhere is compensating for something, I'll tell you that.

Remember those 272" fake pics of tracks a couple years ago? They might become reality soon at this rate!

M10rules: Polaris' adjustable handlebars aren't like riser blocks at all. They move forward and backward several inches. Judging by the other spy pics anyway. (Though I'm sure you can also add riserblocks if you wanted.)

BigD, the 04 SnoPros moved forward and backwards, with different size blocks on each side of the shaft though. As I said, not sure exactly how Polaris is accomplishing it. Will be interesting to see at the show. Wonder if we will see Yamaha come out with the new king of the mountians.......RX2 2000cc V8 with a 291" track and 5" lugs :O LOL And it will only weigh a light feeling 2tons :P

Right on!!! still no price was mentioned on that beast, prob a good 14.999$ Canadian. I REALLY hope the new engine set-up isnt disapointing. I wanted DFI!!! that was disapointing enough.

Also in another of the spy pics you see a bunch of sleds in the dealer lot, three fusions (black, red, blue), one yellow rev, one genII chassis and a couple EDGE chassised, look carefully at the decals on the 2 EDGE chassises, might be the 2005s that will be fusions next year.

Ya know, that Fusion on the left looks a hell of a lot better than that Hamburgler one that we all saw earlier. That RMK looks mint I think.

I hope they still come with PERC and the Octane switch, same engine it seems so should be, doesnt seem to be much room underneath the seat judging by the size of the flap, edge never had much room either, you think must of the other models are still in the EDGE chassis? i wondering about mid season releases too

Man, I don't know! I hope they bring that 900 RMK chassis into other segments as well.

The head-lights on the RMK should have been used on the Fusion. Looks much better in my opinion.

Oh, I gotcha M10. I think Pol's setup will be different than that though. More like tilt steering in a car. :p

The do have either Semi Direct or Direct injection with the Cleanfire.

The Fusion is the XC style sled - not Pro-x, Rev or Firecat ditchbanger style - that is why the pod and headlight setup is different - lower than the RMK. Pol didn't cheese out and make the Mtn riders suffer with a lower position and on the other side they didn't force the flatlanders to move to more of an upright position that the Mtn boys like. That's why you see the tywo different styles.

The handbars move higher and lower as they move forward and back as well.
Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naw, I haven't been playing that well."

Then they said to me, "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

Chit, I could win this!
