So now that all manufacturers have released their new iron, which sled(s) do you think have a shot for snowmobile of the year. I think Its left to be decided between the new Mach and the Fusion because there are really the only new sleds relased this year other than the vector. I think the Fusion has the best shot with an all new chassis/motor and suspension. I know its not the prettiest sled known to man, but people said that same things about the REV and that was SOTY. I guess we will have to wait and see, just wondering what you guys thought.

It's a tough one. Cat really didn't do a whole to be honest. They have some pretty cool stuff out there, but nothing that stands out above all others. The FUSION is brand new and even if it flops, it could still get it for just being all new. Doo is definitly leadin in the engine department. They hit the first 1000cc twin 2 stroke AND made it 2006 emissions compliant AND has Semi Direct Injection. It's even got 20 more hp than the new 900 polaris. As for the sleds themselves, new rear suspension is the only other major change. Yamaha has the new 3 cylinder 4 stroke, but as for other major changes, i don't see a whole lot other than suspension. Then again, I havn't read up much on the yammy's yet. I say for 2006 Cat is gonna have something completley different. Even though the release of the Fcat was not long ago, it really didn't take off like i think they wanted it to. I bet we see a whole new engine lineup for them as well.

Dooski, 20% more power then the Polaris 900 :O That would put the 900 below 140hp LMFAO bet the Doo rep told you that too eh?

Personally, the SOTY award should be given at the end of a season not the beginning. See how the new models really make it in the real world before giving them any credit. Just my .02

It's tough to call this year..but I think with the suspension improvements, and a new 4 stroke engine...the Vector should be there...I'll reserve judgement until I ride a Vector, a Fusion, and a Mach Z....CAT has done nothing to win soty this year....oh yeah they have the m sleds...when is the last time you saw a mountain sled win soty???....it ain't gonna happen....;)

Well, as progression has it, I beleive it is Cats turn. It will likely be the Cat 660 turbo, but what do I know. :B

True sled salesmen are the dumbest people on the face of the earth

BTW that is a general statement and by no means directed towards you Drift:)

BTW I used your comments on the 2005s you rode on other sites and they loved your report:B
