The new guy response to Getting B.s for the 550 mile rides

Since you guys have a problem believing me on riding 550 miles in one day. You want me to be more exact on the time of riding. Well saturday we get up at 2 a.m and leave by 4 a.m and we stop for breakfast, lunch, gas, and stops here and there on the trails, and dinner. we end up getting home on sunday at around 12 to 1 a.m, sometimes later because the trails are really beat up at that time.
I just want to you guys to know im not lying, and just because im 17 i know alot about sleds, and i you guys wouldnt even know im that young if i wouldnt have told you, and you probably would have taken that mile thing more seriously if i was older.

I belive him. If he left when he say's he left and rode straight through (assuming your sled will travel 550 miles on a tank of gas) he would have had to maintain a speed of 26 mph for 21 hours. LOL.

We rode 212 miles in one day in the Black Hills, sun up to sun down, and that kicked my arse....

The distance does seem extreme...sure it wasn't kilometers...LOL

First, it is possible that he did it, if he only stopped to get food twice and gas. Cutting out all the bar stops is a great way to rack up more miles.

On the other hand, if you could spell better and use some proper grammer in your posts it may also help to support your case.

Honestly though, 500+ miles in one day??? We are no idiots on here.

Oh, I forgot, he probably also did it by himself, with no help from others, during a snow storm, and encountered some of the roughest trails he has ever seen.

P.S. I walk up hill both ways to school with no shoes!

Sound familiar?

Welcome to the Trash Talkers board lol. It's nice to see you've all given him a warm welcome. Maybe it would convince them of your achievement if you take a couple of the sceptics along for your 550 ride when you go this winter. I'm neither agreeing or disagreeing that you did it cuz I don't know you. But most of these guys aren't gonna believe the "new guy" who's 17, and comes up with a story like that(true or not true). But anyways... welcome to the board.

Boyz be nice... your gonna scare him lol jk.

we did 210 miles in the UP last year in one day. that was more than enough for a day. when we got back to the hotel we had four pizza's and two orders of bread sticks. all we ate for lunch that day was a mountian dew and two snickers a gas station.

550 miles, give me a break!
