No M-1's Ed, but maybe a vintage 1960's M113 APC, that'll keep here safe on the road. Glad to hear she's alright.

Our town just went through a bad one here. A gravel truck ran a yield sign and a car t-boned it in the rear axles. Nobody in the car was wearing their seatbelts and a little 8 year old boy died in the car when his head struck the dash. Thats something I preach like love, wearing your seatbelts....they might be a pain, but they do save lives.

Great to hear all is well. I'm glad she was in a Ranger, they are pretty safe little trucks.

I am very very happy to hear that she is okay. I know like me when I got my license, most kids think behind the wheel that they are indestructable. You have to go through things like that sometimes so that you fear it. It happens. That's why they are called accidents. At least you know that she learned a lot from it and will be more cautious of things. Hope you are okay to Ed.
If Jager was water and I was a duck,
I'd swim to the bottom and never come up.
But Jager's not water and I'm not a duck,
So slide me the bottle and shut the f*** up!

WOW! Glad she's okay (and YOU didn't have a heart attack). Yes, Rangers are great little trucks, that's reason #3 that I have one myself. Insurance premiums will only go up for about three years (I know that from our little $20,000 accident with the F250, trailer and sleds) then they'll go back down again. Riding the bus until Dad can get new wheels is definitely a minor annoyance that she'll probably soon forget as soon as she gets the new vehicle; that little "trip" she took WON'T be forgotten. Thank God she's okay and no broken bones.

Heh heh... I remember my first "Daddy????" call.... he beat the police and ambulance there! Thank Goodness for "Daddy's".... dunno what I'd do without'em!

Holy cripes!!!! Sounds like she got driving instructions from Sledheadred.....

All joking aside glad to hear she is OK buddy. I can only imagine what it must have been like after getting that call. Little "incidents" like these help us put everything back into perspective once and awhile.
I may not have a sled right now but my office chair is modded to the max!!!!!
