How to Use WD-40. You will be surprised

The damn duct tape pulled the paint off the fiberglass fenders .... of course that was before you cracked or broke one every weekend and preston petty hadn't started marketing the replacement plastic.
having flash backs of those early 1970 "motorcross" days......

I'm going to write to Arctic Cat and suggest they give their customers a case of WD40 instead of 2 stroke oil when the customer finds out his sled needs rebuilding every 1000 miles.

Maybe you could contact Yamaha while you've got you crayons out anyway , and suggest that they give their customers a weight lifting belt, and a copy of "30 Minute Abs" for those times they have to TRY to lift the back end (nevermind the front....) of their sleds.......You could also possibly suggest somewhere they can get mass quantities of grease zerks at wholesale while you're at it........

Oh, and TS.... The duct tape was for the UNDERSIDE of the fenders, with maybe a strip or two down the fork legs..... a couple of quick rips and you could shed 10 or so pounds of mud. It was an almost every Sunday ritual for me... I used to think that it was a conspiracy among promoters to run the Open class guys first in practice whenever they'd overwatered the track. I hated being the "sponge" for all the other classes.

Personal lube? Hmmmm Maybe the Cat dealers will be giving it out instead of vaseline when they sell you your next Cat.

It's no.1 use, was by auto mechanics. It was used almost exclusively to dry distributor caps and wires.
