Hope you feel better soon Whacker. Probably just some whiplash going on, but it won't hurt to get it checked out. HOpe they give you a decent "down payment" on that '04. I'm surprised in this day and age people don't have insurance. I found out that in Michigan, if that were to happen, you'd have to pay your own way and claim against your own insurance company. That's why Joe and I call it the "tread lightly" state!
In Canada it's a $5000 dollar fine (no more, no less) automaticly for no insurance, plus the "extra" charges, and what your sued for, and lawyers. The no insurance fine covers sleds too.
The trouble is, the $$ is why some do not have the insurance...if they had the $$, they would almost certainly pay, right? OK, now they can't pay, get in an accident, and even if they are not at true fault, they get the fine and the blame...all the costs in their lap...so why is the system so stacked against the poorest citzens?

I love NH. Can't say it enough...NH allows the choice without penalty. If you incur enough of a traffic record, you get told no licence tll you are covered to the states satisfaction..I needed it for a period...20 years old, half crazy, and a new 5.0 mustang...bad bad bad...Now I drive to maximize mileage outta the old straight six Ford..lol..No acting up for a while now..
45mph? w/mergin lanes & traffic light's? SLOW THE FUK DOWN. i hope she sue's YOUR ass. (luv these people, alittle sore neck & all they think a bout is HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I MAKE, DO THE OTHER PEOPLE LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE $$$$$$) & people wonder why insurance premium's are so high.:M

Think you have part of it wrong RWL. Yes, insurance premiums do go up when people sue, but most people sue to get compinsated for there losses. If people had insurance like they are required, then no one would need to sue and the insurance company would pay for the losses like it's intended.

But I do have to say that paying insurance is a gambel, roll the dice and pay for 20yrs and never make a claim and waste all the money. Or pay for 2days and your covered not matter what, I think treewhacker case he's lucky he has his insurance to fall back on.

Good luck treewhacker, I think you should get it looked at. Had a friend get into a wreck and thought he was just sore from it. But after a week to swelling went down it turned out he had a fractured shoulder blade.

How's the neck feeling?? Any better? Usually takes a few days 'til you feel normal after a good whiplash.

Neck's just a little sore, I think it'll be OK, just can't figure out how I bruised my shoulder yet, maybe the shoulder harness. The Vette was a 96, red one. Got 2 estimates on my truck today, one was $3,359.00 and one was $3,195.00

Damn, I nearly t-boned a couple stoned looking kids in a POS little car wednesday night myself. Little bastards ran a red light, nearly t-boned a guy in the right hand lane beside me, I slammed the brakes on, came to a stop with the passenger looking straight at me. Good fawking thing nobody was behind me either. Little ****s took off again before I could get the senses to check their plates.

Best of luck to ya whacker. People gettin' hurt ain't nothing to spit at.
