Yesterday, March 11th was the 37th running of the Nome-Golovin race. There were 72 entants all wanting a share of the $29,000.00 in prize money. Conditions were bad for the 180 miles course, due to flat light and high winds. (ground storm)

There were no reported mechanical failures other then blown shocks in all of the classes. All of the DNF's were the result of crashing and/or rider injury.

According to the smurfs CC, Iron Dog, and Sno-X isnt good enough for yamaha. Only the soo-500 lol
Yes Davidson has run a few CC races, but hasnt made any HUGE impact

I was going to ask....did the yamaha guys up there not know about the big hp 4 stroke yams that they can run against the 600 2 strokers? or does this race not recognize ISR rules?

My same thought's, where's the almightly 150hp Yamaha to compete in the 120hp class? Also, what's up with the almighty F-cat's??

Apex's could be run in the open class, and Nytro's in the 600 class, but nobody runs Yamaha's around here. (for racing)
