well my Apex bit me right in the ASS again in march

freakin scares me to death every time i go to start it whether cause i leave the key on or i start it wrong and it floods, but this time it sheet on me in the UP. went all winter here and 3 trips up north this year runnin better than everyone elses sled in the world and no staring issues. we put on 200 sunday in the UP, then got up monday morn with a 400 mile day mapped out and turned the key my ASS sputterd for 10 seconds and dies. sumbeech i say and new that was trouble and fired it up again. same thing. only two of us went and i'm a racer not a mech, so we loaded my high tech sludge in the trailer and headed home. arctichammer didnt go and had offered to let me take his racer for back up but my ASS had ran so fine all year i said wont need it. well we stopped in gaylord for gas on the way home and it was next to the yammy dealer so they changed the plugs, three fouled, and we took off from there and put on another 150 then headed home. took there trained mechanic 55 minutes inside with powertools to change em. (arctichammer can do it with factory tools in 5 below in an hour) 3800 miles and i love it more now than ever, but i think i'm gonna buy a bigger trailer and by another apex to haul up for a backup.

My F-7 has not fouled a plug in 4,200 miles. And has NEVER refused to start on the second pull. All this, and you can ditch bang with it too. Imagine that.

That level of shoddiness is unexceptable even for a yammie. I'm siding with the UFO expert...I've never fouled a plug with my 2 stroker.
Oil would be cheaper if the greenies stopped using it.

i never fouled a plug on any of my liquid Yams and now i'm doin it on the fuel injected 4 stroke every 2000 miles. pretty scarey, but other than that cant really say anything else bad about it. i would never go back to a stupid two stroke. long live my ASS.

if i gotta spend an extra 8 grand on a backup sled and 4000 to upgrade to a three place to keep riding a LWHPRPFS Apex(which is the greatest racing sled of all time) i'll do it. nothing could swing me back on a two smoker.

If the apex was the greatest race sled in the world.... why would you need a back-up?

yammr, take a look at the IQ 800. Now that's what should scare you. Not an 80hp tank w/a spark plug fetish.
