New sled arrival

Postby CatmanZR800 » August 1st, 2001, 12:41 pm

Does anybody know when the average delivery of Spring ordered sleds are? (can you tell I'm like a little kid waiting for my Xmas present?).

The only time I would have time to call my dealer to find out is obviously after they're closed.

I figured I'd ask all you great people out there anyway instead. I'm just curious because I never Spring ordered before.

OHHHH! I think I saw a snow flake just now! Oh, never mind...it was just a dandelion seed floating by. Holy sh!t do I need therapy!! This summer heat is getting to me...I need snow to snap me out of this!!

One of my buds ordered a ZR800 last spring, he didn't get it until the first week of January, while at the same time the dealer got in 2 other 800's he sold off the floor "before Marks came in".

I know Polaris already shipped out a bunch of sleds. There is a bunch of em in the crates behind my dealer right now. I think they have some cat's back there too.

I went to my dealer yesterday because I was a little curious. Curious because I saw 6 or 7 truckloads of polaris crates sitting in their lot. They said that they have some snowcheck sleds (the least common ones) but won't start putting them together until the end of august. Darnit! Oh well I saw a '01 600 Edge X in the showroom and thought it looked really sweet.

Yeah, my dealer has a Blue XC600 X on the showroom floor also. Along with a snowcheck Cat ZR6 EFI (black) and a Viper.

Catman you will probably see your new 800 in November. They build the ZR's last. This year the 800EFI sled will probably be last. Last year my 800 came in the week before Thanksgiving. Its good to be the last built as you get all the upgrades. Some upgrades even after they grass drag some. Just tape a picture to the front of your sunglases! LOL

Was at the dealer two day ago and seen eight crates in their garage, all of them but one were just normal production. Just one Zr500 cce in green. There was a viper in the show room!
