Small block sleds?

If a new 340 motor was released that put out 90+ horses and was faster than any other sled from 0-60 mph would you buy it?

I will always want something for the lake so I like bigger cc sleds, what would the top end be on this sled?

NOPE. I like the midrange to topspeed when trail riding. I wouldn't want to listen to that high revving small cc motor.

Small block sleds?

Put in a race sled chassis with all the cool race stuff, make it weigh at most 430 pounds dry and I'd buy it. How much fun would it be to run with 800's across a field, then watch them rub their eyes in disbelief that they just got handed their hats by a 340. Plus it would rip the twisty's apart.
:p

They could come out with a 340 making 80-85 horse no problem. Case reed with all the high end s**t from the big sleds, exhaust valves..

It would push 85-90mph.

If they did, i would maybe consider one.

If the weight was in the 400# to 425# range I'd buy one for a second sled. Sold a TXL340 a couple a years ago, it was still fun to screw around on, even though it was 20 yrs old____________DREW
