EXACTLY,,,,SO,,, THAT'S WHY THEY MAKE THE GRAPHICS LOOK GREATER AND HARD SELL THEM IN ADVERTISEMENTS!!!.
CHEAPER TO BUILD,,CHEAPER TO WARRANTY IF THET BREAK.
THEY HAVE CONSUMERS THINKING TWINS ARE THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD.
BUT,,,TWINS BUST CLUTCHES,AND BURN PISTONS JUST LIKE TRIPLES DO.
AND IF IT WAS COST EFFECTIVE THEY'D BUILD A TRIPLE WITH A STRONGER CRANK,,BUT ,, THEY HAVE TO CHEAP OUT SOMWHERE DON'T THEY??
REMEMBER WHEN POLARIS'S HAD LEATHER SEATS????

Not every sled is set up to do 120mph across open areas. We don't all like to go WOT on the trails(trees suck) Some of us like to see what we are going by. I have a lot of respect for triple, triples.(love to take one for a test drive) but one sled ( or one motor)doesn't always fulfill the need of the masses. Best reply I can come up with at this time. We all need twins and tripples to satisfy our needs. My 2 cents worth.

Simple, low end torque. Tripples take a little longer to get into the torque curve, generally. Also lighter.

Have you ever ridden one, and I mean ridden one. Remember the big twins only have a single pipe when they come from there OEM. Take and put twin pipes and rejet it plus minus the 60-80 lbs difference you have between a triple and you will notice the difference very easily. I rest my case your Honour!
