Just seen a young guy with his first sled get it sideways going into a corner and roll it over with four miles on it. He drove 130 miles to ride and only made it that far, now the hood is broke the bars are bent, and the windshield needs replaced, may even have bent spindle. No damage to the person but his pride.

hey zinger, you ever seen what happens when you match up a half-ton moose with a tractor-trailer?

"Eeewwwwwww..."

Man, it was awful. Bits and pieces laying all over the road. Vital fluids everywhere...

Did some nasty damage to the moose, too...

A friend of mine hit a moose. Sled was a right off and the moose too!! But friend walked away with bruises. Must of been wearing a horse shoe that night, he was alone in the woods too about 2 am. The moose even put one of his hoofs through the body pan.

A sensible post Bushman- fact are in out 4 northern NY counties 23,599 deer were reported taken in 1999 and statewide 256,000 were REPORTED now thinking about Wisconsin or Minnesota and Michigan and all the creatures that are dodging bullets and sled it is a risk. I seldom ride the hill w/o hearing of a close call and have just missed 3 already myself...everyone watch out
