CAT DIESEL POWER

Postby OldCatRacer » January 6th, 2002, 11:40 pm

It has just been released that Arctic Cat has joined efforts with Yanmar diesel company to build and use a lightweight four cylinder diesel in there '03 lineup. It will be competing with the new Yamaha 1000 four stroke. Cat officials have said they are a little disappointed so far as the prototype in Hibbert's open sled "just does'nt have it" Stay tuned for more info!!!

i can see why they might want to use a diesel.
COMPRESSION. you can put the compression ratio through the roof and it will not detonate. if you made it light enough it might actaully kick some @$$........if it is light. if it isn't then well might as well have a steam engine on it!

a diesel snowmobile now that is something that i would consider buying!
