If it is any consolation - Gordon finished 9th in points before last years championship with a whole new team and crewchief.
Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naw, I haven't been playing that well."

Then they said to me, "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

Yeah - like JR too but my wife is always trying to put a mask with Jr's face on me in bed at night, makes it difficult for me - haha.

LIKE I SAID BEFORE, I'm not saying poor Gordy isn't a good driver, what I'm saying IS, that it takes a GREAT TEAM to win. The only reason that I talk Martin up is because he has been one of the most CONSISTANT driver's in nascar almost since he started in Winston cup, despite all the changes that he's been through. In my opinion, he just as good as whiny baby and he don't complain about his circumstances all the time either.

Yeah, I didn't much care for Harvicks attitude last year - but I think when he went up on stage at the awards night and totally bombed out (his jokes were just horrible), he learned a little humility. So far this year and in the off season he sounds like he has toned done a bit and is maturing. It will be interesting to see how he does.

God man, you don't talk to many women then (something wrong with you? :-)) - ever since they put him on MTV cribs - all the women around here are all gaga n s**t.

By the way - When in the past 5 years have you heard Gordon whinning any more than any other driver on the circuit - if someone crashes you - words get said- period. I can understand maybe from early in his career - but man that was a long time ago - you gotta just let it go. He admits to his mistakes and questions mistakes others make, other than that, along with Rudd, Jarrett, Martin and a few others, he is among the elite in character. Not to mention he landed Miss Winston!

Junior sucks....If its not a super speedway where its all car and no driver he sucks....And furthermore hes the only one that doesnt have to use a restrictor plate on the big tracks....Nascar just turns there head...My problem with him is that hes living off his daddies jock...Speaking of his dad why do people feel that it was ok for him to put people in the wall...He was the dirtiest driver ever..Ill never forget them imbread hillbilles saying that Dale Earnhardt dying was the same as JFK and Princess Di when they died.Right,a President and an Ambassador compared to someone who didnt finish 8th grade...All i hope is that Jr, Harvick and Stewart kiss the wall...

I AM A WOMAN DIPSTICK. Maybe YOU just don't want to admit that you might have a problem with the women. And, you must be wacked if you think Martin has EVER complained or cut anyone down as much as Gordon. It will take a lot longer then a handful of races with no comments from whiny for us Gordon-haters to forget what a pain in the arse he is!

Cat Addict - Just remember - Mikeybac is an Arctic Cat fan. - Haha - fixed races - thats a good one you fool. JFK was revered for how long maybe 5+ years - Diana, who cares about here in the US other than our wives. Earnhardt was loved and hated by millions and millions for a span of 25+ years.

The difference - even those who hated Earnhardt sincerely grieved.

I don't especially like any of those drivers either, but I think you are taking the #3 bashing a little too far! He was an agressive but successful driver on the track and a good man off and the only reason someone might have compared him to those other people is because he also had a place in a lot of people's hearts. He was someone that they could look forward to watching and could aspire to be like- despite his faults.
