value of trailing arm sleds to plummet......

Postby NorthernSkunk » February 23rd, 2002, 8:54 am

got some people asking me about trailing arm sleds. they are worried that they might not be able to sell them soon because of yamaha and doo comin out with a-arm set ups. I think they might have a point here, why would anyone buy a new trailing arm sled when 2 of the 3 makers are switchin themselves? never mind buyin a used trailing arm sled.
Na i'm done with you, your to much of an ass for me!

Your on a need to know basis and since you never come out here you don't need to know....

value of trailing arm sleds to plummet......

I don't race but I ride hard - I honestly can't tell a diffence from the front end whether it be trailing arm or a-arms. Rode a zr800 this year after riding my XC and both sleds handled excellently through the rough stuff. Maybe I am just not a conoissuer (sp?).
Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naw, I haven't been playing that well."

Then they said to me, "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

Chit, I could win this!

I have to agree with you. I really haven't noticed the difference between the arms. It depends more on the set up.

I have noticed that there is a fine line with the front and rear pressures on the trailing arm sleds. I don't think the a arms are as hard to set up. I noticed with my xc600 that a quarter turn on the rear shock means the difference between darting and straight tracking.

Ski-doo swept the podium this year at two WSA races in pro-stock. Must be close.
