i have a 98 xlt 600 and was wondering if 96 studs will give enough grip just for a little traction on ice and if any one has some for sale

xlt, I'd increase my stud pattern to 144 if I were you, considering the horsepower your dealing with. If you under stud you won't hook up like you want to and you'll just end up bending and breaking studs due to increased stress from your over abundance of hp/stud ratio.
