Whats with the WSA?

After watching some other races on t.v. I thought Winnipeg was doing well. I just watched Buffalo I think where Martin won open and Gulla stock (in case I have the location wrong) and was there 500 fans there? There must have been 2500 on the Saturday and 4000 on the Sunday in Winnipeg..maybe I just didn't see the seating for the snocross in Buffalo well enough. With all the camera angles they had I thought I could though. Correct me if I'm wrong on the numbers for WPG, I'm just guessing after walking around the track and looking up. WPG has had a fun track, not really long, but it was fun. Especially this year. The weather isn't always like that in Manitoba, or anywhere for that matter. Just a couple years of bad luck. You could get that anywhere on that weekend. I guess what I'm saying is that I really hope they come back to Winnipeg! I rode Semi-Pro stock and Open this past season and Sport Stock and Open the previous 2 seasons.

I agree. I think Winnipeg would be OK, but you have to be able to make money on an event and both Winnipeg and Valcourt are at a disadvantage as everything is in Canadian $. Like it or not that hurts, but on the other hand the race has been there for 3 years and if they move to a new location, are things going to be any better?

Winnipeg has a Population of 800,000

the Canuck loonie has been around $0.80 vs $1 us

so that would be a poor excuse Bonzai

Look at how poor Buffalo was attended

It most lkely is WSA way of ripping off people and also by not bothering to advertise the race IMO

BTW the new deal on the homepage is nothing more than a smokescreen for the WSA to rip more people off as they seem to have entered the ATV racing market for more $$$ gouging

I was talkin about the Super Snowcross run by Ken yes. My dad mostly worked with Grant Reeves or Dave something though. They were both dickheads. They only had two decent guys on their whole crew. Neither of which I know their real names. One guy was known as Punchy, and the other was one of the flaggers, he traveled everywhere with them, short guy, his daughter used to race. Real nice ppl they were. But everyone else we ever came into contact with on that entire circuit... were jerks. There were a few times when my dad almost drove the groomer right outa the building and locked it up so they couldn't do their race... cuz Grant wasn't gonna pay him... again! Oh well... **** happens. What do ya do... they went under... what goes around comes around.
