My new CAD progam!!!

Well, with all this talk of backyard types, I had to go and prove that I could make AHoods reed stuffer with a program that didn't cost as much as my house! I think the other backyard mechanics, like lowtekrednek, will be quite proud of my accomplishments. AHood, excuse me for modifying your stuffer. My program very easily allowed me to radius the corners. I also fixed some design flaws that I thought may make it a bit better.

sure you can make them- just enroll in the local tech school as a part time machine tool student- access to the machine shop is yours

AHood, what CAD program do you have? I got Autodesk Inventor 10, i got the basics down, and its fun to use.

a cad program will give you a picture of what you want.
a cam program will generate the program to machine your parts on the cnc.
I had to take a cad class when I was in tech school and it seemed to be geared toward drawing houses than machining parts- however you can use it for that.
we use GibbsCam where I work
