As a matter of fact, I just toured the Redline corporate offices in Callie....and yes, they are worth the money.

What do I think, well, I'm sure they run good, look pretty good( I don't think so personally), and that they would last a while... BUT, I wouldn't buy one unless they become more popular, for example, my dealer can get you 2004 CAT parts for beans out of his junk yard, from crashed sleds. Redline is so new, and expensive, and they're really not producing as near as many sleds as the rest, it would be hard to get parts for one. Of course the only way that they will become popular is if they are bought. If you like the sled, and believe in the company, and if you have a near by dealer, buy one.

No snowmobile is worth the money, because for one thing, they are made waaaaaaaaay cheaper than they cost; the second thing is that they are bought for fun and not as an investment. Just my .02.

Depends if you want to have something similar as everyone else - or something different.

Basically you can spend less and get more in every category. OR you can write a bigger check and get something that looks different.
Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naw, I haven't been playing that well."

Then they said to me, "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

Chit, I could win this!

Unless I had $$ to spare and wanted a collector piece I wouldn't buy one.

Myself, for the money I would locate one of your favorite brand sled, buy it and spend the $diffy on perf. work tailored to the riding YOU do.

Honestly

No one knows if they are "truly" worth the $$$

If they actually release a sled(which I doubt,serious $$$flow problems)

I would say when its 4yrs old and only has minor problems and still puts that grin on your face then yes it would be worth the $$$ till then nobody knows and may never know
